This wheel chair is indeed light. My 70 year old wife is able to load it into our car by herself. The frame is sturdy and well made. The controls are quite good and responsive. On the whole I am very satisfied with this motorized chair. There is however room for improvement. The written manual is very poorly written, incomplete and unprofessional. The chair is somewhat prone to toppling over forward. One must be quite careful while driving somewhat quickly and/or going slightly downhill that you don’t hit even a half inch ledge in the pavement and that you sit with your weight as far back in the seat as possible. The armrests do not automatically fold up when the seat is folded up. The releases for the armrests are not documented, and not that easy to locate and operate and do not reliably lock in an upright position when folded up. So that when transporting or setting up the chair the arm rests are susceptible to swinging around.

It is very light and convenient. But, it does lack power and is not as maneuverable as I had hoped. Great to keep in the car for a quick trip, but not the chair I would want for every day use.

I have had this electric wheelchair a month now, and I like it very well. It is easy to operate, folds easily, and is lightweight enough that I can put it in our van. I had an accident and hit a brick wall because an automatic door pushed me into it and a small part broke. Customer service responded quickly and sent a replacement part at no cost to me. They even sent a video because I couldn’t understand how to replace the part. The wheels can bump the footrest when turning, but I am so used to not having a foot rest, I don’t always use it. This chair has been a boon to me because it allows me to navigate the long halls in my building and also allows me to go places with my grandkids.
